Analisa Quality of Service Jaringan LTE-A menggunakan Metode CA-Inter-Band di Wilayah Kiaracondong

Abstract


Lokasi riset ini berlokasi di Kiaracondong, Kota Bandung, Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesa yang diperoleh dari OSS (Operations Support System) bahwa rata-rata penggunaan RB (Resource Block) dilokasi riset sebesar 85,11%. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan kapasitas jaringan terus bertambah sehingga throughput yang diterima disisi pelanggan menjadi semakin rendah. Maka, riset ini mengusulkan perencanaan LTE-Advanced menggunakan CA (Carrier Aggregation) sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi masalah dilokasi riset. Penggabungan dua/lebih CC (Component Carrier) pada frequency-band yang sama/berbeda untuk meningkatkan throughput pada sisi pelanggan merupakan keunggulan metode CA. Dua buah CC yang telah digabung memperoleh bandwidth 10 MHz pada band 3 (1800 MHz) dan bandwidth 10 MHz pada band 1 (2100 MHz). Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya CA dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata RSRP dengan kondisi awal -98,83 dBm menjadi -73,71 dBm, nilai rata-rata SINR 9,9 dB menjadi 20,23 dB dan nilai rata-rata throughput 13,8 Mbps menjadi 30,21 Mbps.
