Analisa Efektifitas Ran Sharing Pada Perusahaan Telekomunikasi (Studi Kasus RAN Sharing XL-Indosat)

Kajian mengenai network sharing dan RAN (Radio Access Networks) Sharing sudah dilakukan oleh beberapa pakar telekomunikasi ataupun organisasi yang fokus terhadap perkembangan teknologi industri telekomunikasi. Penerapan teknik RAN Sharing oleh operator telekomunikasi perlu dilakukan dengan adanya aturan hukum atau regulasi yang mengatur tentang proses dan pelaksanaan kerjasama antar operator sehingga akan berjalan secara teratur. Beberapa riset telah mengungkapkan bahwa sebuah operator akan melakukan efisiensi sekitar 40 % – 60 % pada opex dan capex jika menerapkan RAN Sharing. Di Indonesia sudah ada 2 operator yang sudah menerapkan RAN Sharing yaitu operator XL dan Indosat. Kerjasama ini sudah dijalin sejak tahun 2012 dan hal ini perlu dikaji kembali efektifitasnya terhadap manajemen stategis perusahaan telekomunikasi.
