LENS: Platform Marketplace Peer-To-Peer Penyewaan Peralatan Fotografi Berbasis Web

Perkembangan industri kreatif dan media sosial telah meningkatkan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap peralatan fotografi seperti kamera, lensa, lighting, dan perangkat pendukung lainnya. Namun, tingginya harga peralatan fotografi menjadi hambatan bagi kreator pemula, mahasiswa, maupun pelaku UMKM untuk memiliki peralatan secara mandiri. Di sisi lain, banyak pemilik peralatan fotografi yang tidak memanfaatkan asetnya secara optimal sehingga menciptakan peluang bisnis berbasis sharing economy melalui mekanisme penyewaan. Permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini adalah proses penyewaan masih dilakukan secara manual melalui media sosial dan aplikasi pesan instan sehingga sering menimbulkan keterlambatan respons, ketidakjelasan ketersediaan alat, serta rendahnya keamanan transaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang platform startup marketplace bernama LENS yang menghubungkan pemilik alat dan penyewa secara peer-to-peer (P2P) melalui sistem berbasis web. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Waterfall yang terdiri dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Platform dirancang dengan fitur verifikasi identitas, verifikasi portofolio, manajemen inventaris alat, sistem booking, monitoring transaksi, pengingat pengembalian alat, serta pengelolaan komisi otomatis sebagai model bisnis platform. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan sistem mampu mendukung proses transaksi penyewaan yang lebih aman, transparan, dan efisien dibandingkan proses manual. Selain itu, model bisnis fee commission yang diterapkan memungkinkan platform memperoleh pendapatan secara berkelanjutan tanpa harus memiliki inventaris alat secara langsung.
