PEMANFAATKAN GPS (GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM) MENENTUKAN POSISI AUTOCARE TERDEKAT MENGGUNAKAN METODE SEQUENTIAL

Berkunjung ke sesuatu tempat dengan kendaraan bermotor roda empat terutama mobil merupakan sesuatu hal yang sering dilakukan seseorang, terkadang bagi seseorang pendatang tidak semua mengenal kondisi daerah tempat yang tidak biasa mereka kunjungi, sehingga terkadang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengetahui lokasi untuk kendaraan bermotor khususnya mobil yang ada di daerah tersebut seperti lokasi SPBU, bengkel mobil, jasa cuci mobil dan toko spare part mobil. Terbatasnya informasi tentang lokasi penyedia layanan untuk kendaraan bermotor khususnya mobil menyebabkan kesulitan bagi seseorang saat hendak ingin menggunakan lokasi penyedia layanan untuk kendaraan bermotor tersebut. Kesulitan akan semakin terasa ketika kebutuhan untuk menggunakan jasa penyedia layanan untuk kendaraan bermotor tersebut bersifat mendesak. Pada rancangan ini, pengguna dapat dengan mudah menggunakan aplikasi pencarian lokasi berbasis android ini, hanya dengan menginputkan kata kunci berupa wilayah, maka akan tampil lokasi yang dicari. Tujuan skripsi ini adalah untuk memberi informasi, penunjuk arah, dan memberi panduan kepada pengendara bermotor mengenai lokasi layanan kendaraan bermotor untuk mobil meliputi SPBU, bengkel mobil, jasa cuci mobil dan toko sparepart mobil. Kesimpulan dari pembuatan skripsi ini bahwa aplikasi mobile berbasis Android yang dirancang dapat memberikan informasi kepada pengguna mengenai lokasi layanan kendaraan bermotor dengan menggunakan peta atau map, dan memandu pengguna menuju lokasi dengan menggunakan peta berbasis layanan Google map.
