Perancangan Antena Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Untuk Aplikasi 5G Pada Frekuensi 3,6 GHz

Penelitian ini merancang antena Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) dengan modifikasi T-slot untuk meningkatkan bandwidth pada aplikasi jaringan 5G di frekuensi 3,6 GHz. Menggunakan bahan RT Duroid 5880 (εr = 2,2; tebal 1,575 mm), desain dimulai dari perhitungan teoritis, disimulasikan dengan Ansys HFSS 2015, lalu dioptimasi melalui lima tahap percobaan. Desain terbaik (percobaan ke-5) menghasilkan bandwidth 160 MHz (3,51–3,67 GHz) dan return loss −20,34 dB pada simulasi. Namun, hasil pengukuran antena fisik berbeda, yaitu frekuensi kerja 3,62 GHz dengan return loss −3,13 dB, yang kemungkinan disebabkan oleh toleransi fabrikasi, kalibrasi alat, dan kualitas konektor/kabel. Studi ini membuktikan metode T-slot efektif meningkatkan bandwidth, tetapi presisi fabrikasi dan pengukuran perlu ditingkatkan.Downloads
