ANALISA TRAFIK SCADA DAN VOICE PADA VSAT

Dalam penulisan penelitian ini akan diperhitungkan data trafik SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) yang digunakan untuk sistim monitoring, kontrol dan akuisisi data dari instrument di setiap station gas dan trafik penggunaan komunikasi suara suara yang ditumpangkan pada media komunikasi VSAT (Very Small Aparture Terminal) yang kesehariannya digunakan di setiap stasiun gas sebagai media komunikasi antar stasiun gas atau hubungan komunikasi antara stasiun gas dengan MCS (Master Control System) sebagai sistem kesatuan yang terintegrasi untuk mempermudah pengoperasian penyaluran gas.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah memperhitungkan bandwidth yang digunakan sebelum terjadi kegagalan atau failled pada saat pengiriman data dan suara. Adapun cara yang digunakan adalah membuktikan batas maksimum bandwidth existing berdasarkan perhitungan pemakaiaan trafik yang digunakan sesuai dengan jumlah instrument yang ada di lapangan yang selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan bandwidth VSAT yang telah tersedia.
Bandwidth 64 Kbps untuk setiap stasiun gas cukup untuk keadaan penggunaan 3 trafik voice yang digunakan secara bersamaan dengan penggunaan data SCADA saja namun apabila keadaan penggunaan trafik voice >3 panggilan suara secara bersamaan maka akan terjadi kegagalan penerimaan data SCADA dikarenakan keterbatasan bandwidth hal ini terbukti dengan perhitungan keadaan dengan 4 trafik voice yang terpakai secara bersamaan yaitu rata-rata trafik di atas 64000 bps yaitu 70461 bps. Media transmisi VSAT dapat digunakan untuk trafik data SCADA dan suara secara bersamaan memiliki Quality of Service (QoS) cukup baik
