ANALISA KEBUTUHAN JENIS DAN SPESIFIKASI POMPA UNTUK SUPLAI AIR BERSIH DI GEDUNG KANTIN BERLANTAI 3 PT ASTRA DAIHATSU MOTOR

Pada Gedung kantin berlantai 3 di PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, terdapat sistem pemipaan dan pompa air yang digunakan untuk mensuplai air bersih untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan kenyataan di lapangan dimana tidak ada data-data sekunder untuk menentukan spesifikasi pompa tersebut. Tujuan analisa ini adalah untuk mendapatkan kapasitas pompa yang sesuai dengan sistem pemipaan yang terpasang di gedung kantin berlantai 3. Dengan menggunakan metode studi lapangan dan wawancara serta penerapan rumus-rumus yang berhubungan dengan sistem pemipaan dan mencakup perhitungan pompa. Sistem pemipaan yang dihitung adalah sistem pemipaan dari tangki air di dasar lantai menuju ke tangki air yang di atas gedung. Dalam menentukan jenis dan spesifikasi pompa yang akan digunakan pada gedung tersebut meliputi debit air yang dibutuhkan, menentukan kapasitas komponen–komponen yang akan digunakan seperti diameter pipa, kapasitas tangki air di lantai dasar dan di atap gedung dan head total pada sistem pemipaan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, debit air yang dibutuhkan 0,0296874 m3/min dan head total yang terjadi sebesar 15,9438 m. Maka spesifikasi pompa yang diperlukan adalah 40 x 32A2 – 50,75. Spesifikasi pompa tersebut tidak jauh berbeda dengan yang sudah diterapkan di lapangan. Pompa tersebut tidak mengalami kavitasi karena NPSHa (14,119 m) > NPSHr (0,478314 m).Downloads
