PERENCANAAN DESAIN TRIBOMETER TIPE PIN ON DISK TEST BERSTANDAR ASTM G-99 DENGAN DUA VARIASI PUTARAN MOTOR

Direncanakan suatu alat uji keausan tribometer pin on disk yang memungkinkan memberikan data yang diperlukan dalam mengukur laju keausan material. Tribometer ini direncanakan memiliki variasi putaran hingga 1000 rpm, dan memiliki putaran dua arah(bolak-balik). Penambahan perencanaan desain roda pada tribometer pin on disc memungkinkan tribometer yang direncanakan ini dapat dipindahkan secara mudah oleh penggunanya saat digunakan. Dalam perencanaan tribometer pin on disk ini, perlu dianalisa ketahanan rangka dalam menahan beban yang diakibatkan oleh motor penggerak dan memperhatikan standar ASTM G99. Ketahanan roda dalam menopang seluruh komponen tribometer juga diperkirakan dengan static analysis pada perangkat lunak solidworks dan dinyatakan dalam factor of safety (FOS). Dimana untuk motor perkiraan massa 5 kg, dapat ditopang oleh rangka dengan material alloy steel (SS) dengan yield strength 620421997,8 (N/m2) dengan nilai factor of safety (FOS) sebesar 350. Static analysis dilakukan juga pada bagian roda dengan material plastik nylon 101 dengan yield strength 6,0 x 107 N/m2 yang dibebani oleh berat tribometer sebesar 17,3 kg (32 kg dalam pengujian untuk keamanan) dengan nilai factor of safety (FOS) sebesar 84. Ukuran pin didesain mengikuti standar ASTM G99 yakni berdiameter 6mm dan tinggi 34mm. Lengan beban dapat memanjang hingga 33mm untuk menguji material dengan diameter 90mm hingga 120mm.Downloads
