Penanaman Mata Pahat Carbide Pada Baja High Speed Steel

Perkembangan industri manufaktur di indonesia dari tahun ke tahun semakin pesat seiring berkembangnya teknologi permesinan, mesin-mesin itu antara lain mesin frais, mesin boring, mesin skrap, mesin bubut, dan sebagainnya. Salah satu proses permesinan yang sering digunakan didalam industri manufaktur adalah mesin bubut. Mesin bubut merupakan suatu mesin yang berfungsi untuk membentuk benda kerja dengan cara menyayat dan memiliki gerakan utama berputar. Terlepas dari proses permesinan, mesin bubut membutuhkan sebuah pahat atau tools untuk pengoperasiannya. Pahat merupakan salah satu komponen dari permesinan yang memegang peran penting dalam pemotongan logam atau material lainnya, karena pahat adalah bagian yang berkontak langsung dengan benda kerja yang sedang melakukan proses permesinan, dalam penelitian ini akan membahas tentang proses pembuatan pahat carbide model tanam pada baja high speed steel, proses pembuatan pahat ini akan dibagi menjadi dua proses pembuatan pahat, yaitu pahat dengan las kuningan dan pahat dengan pemanas induksi, kemudian dari keduanya akan diteliti berdasarkan kekerasannya.
