Analisis Pengaruh Roda Benjol Terhadap Kekuatan Shaft Pada M-Car Trainset PT. MRT Jakarta

Abstrak-- Salah satu bagian penting dalam sarana perkeretaapian adalah poros. Poros diartikan sebagai bagian kereta dengan fungsi untuk meneruskan putaran dari motor traksi ke roda. Beban yang diterima oleh poros terkadang berasal dari impact akibat adanya cacat roda seperti roda benjol. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh roda benjol sehingga diketahui ukuran kedalaman maksimal roda benjol yang direkomendasikan agar keamanan shaft penggerak roda trainset MRT Jakarta terjaga, dan juga untuk mengetahui pendistribusian tegangan yang terjadi di shaft penggerak akibat adanya beban akibat roda benjol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga dengan software abaqus untuk mendapatkan impact force akibat dari roda benjol dan perhitungan manual untuk menganalisis kekuatan shaft dengan beban impact force akibat adanya roda benjol. Hasil analisis dengan perhitungan manual menunjukan bahwa shaft mampu menahan gaya akibat roda benjol dengan maksimal kedalaman 2 mm, dengan gaya 499600 N pada kecepatan 40 km/h. Dengan bagian kritis yaitu pada leher bagian II dengan hasil von mises manual 257,5021 MPa. Dengan tegangan yang diijinkan pada bagian II adalah 260,7 MPa. Kedalaman roda benjol maksimal 1,5 mm direkomendasikan sebagai batas roda dilakukan pembubutan, untuk terjaganya ketersediaan operasi kereta di PT. MRT Jakarta.
