ANALISA PENGARUH TEMPERATUR UDARA MASUK TERHADAP TEKANAN DAN TEMPERATUR GAS BUANG PADA PLTD PULO PANJANG BANTEN

Motor diesel adalah motor bakar torak yang proses penyalaannya bukan menggunakan loncatan bunga api melainkan ketika torak hampir mencapai titik mati atas (TMA) bahan bakar disemprotkan ke dalam ruang bakar melalui nosel sehingga terjadilah pembakaran pada ruang bakar dan udara dalam silinder sudah mencapai temperatur tinggi. Tekanan yang dihasilkan melalui proses pembakaran adalah tergantung dari temperatur udara yang dimasukan ke dalam silinder, semakin tinggi temperature maka relatip semakin berkurang jumlah molekul udara yang dikandungnya sebaliknya semakin rendah temperature relatip kandungan molekul udara lebih banyak. Dengan adanya perubahan temperatur pada udara masuk akan mempengaruhi pada tekanan dan temperatur gas buangnya. Kondisi ini diteliti secara analisis pada mesin diesel merk SDEC/ Licens Caterpillar dengan putaran 1500 rpm dan kapasitas 248 kw. Dari hasil perhitungan terlihat bahwa bahwa efisiensi pemakaian bahan bakar yaitu 32,9 l/jam pada 31,1 (⁰C) dan minimum 23,5 l/jam pada 27,4 (⁰C). Dengan turunnya temperatur udara sekitar dari 31,1⁰C sampai 27,4⁰C menyebabkan menurunnya juga SFC yang dihasilkan dari perhitungan 0,7 menurun hingga menjadi 0,62. Kg/kw.jam sedangkan T out maksimal didapat 300,21⁰C pada T in 27,4 ⁰C dan minimun 299,42 ⁰C pada T in 31,1 ⁰C. Dengan besarnya tekanan dan T out dari hasil pembakaran sehingga untuk selanjutnya hasil analisa ini dapat dijadikan bahan untuk pemanfaatan proses pembakaran untuk dijadikan konversi energi lainnya.Downloads
