Abstract - The frame is a part of the vehicle that functions as a foundation that supports all component components. The frame must be made of a material that is strong enough to withstand or bear the load of the vehicle, the construction is tailored to the needs of its use. Static stress and safety factors on the scooter frame with load cases will be accepted as benchmarks in testing with the aspect of material selection. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the strength and safety factor of the scooter frame when getting a load, namely static loading with a simulation using Solidworks 2015 software. The materials to be used in the frame design are ASTM A36 steel, Aluminum 6063-T5 and Titanium Ti-6AI- 4AV as a comparison of frame design. The results are expected that the static stress on the frame is able to withstand a load of 80 kg to 100 kg and get the safety factor of each material and determine the optimum. The conclusion of the three materials is that only two are included in the criteria used as the main frame material for the scooter, namely Titanium Ti-6Al-4AV and Baja ASTM A36. As for the Aluminum 6063-T5 material, it does not meet the safety factor value of 2.5 to 4 because it only gets 1.5.
