Mesin pembelah buah pinang adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mempercepat suatu pekerjaan untuk membelah buah pinang agar mempermudah pekerja dan dapat membantu pekerjaan lebih ringan dan mendapatkan hasil yang baik. Mesin Pembelah pinang yang telah dibuat di Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis mengalami beberapa kendala yaitu pembelahan yang tidak merata. Hal ini disebabkan Rpm dan jarak bilah pengantar dengan mata pisau tersebut. Rpm mesin dan jarak bilah pengantar dengan mata pisau tersebut sangat berpengaruh dalam proses pembelahan pinang. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan Rpm 800, 1000, dan jarak bilah pengantar dengan mata pisau yaitu dengan jarak 2 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan persentase hasil belahan pinang yang sempurna, persentase belahan tidak sempurna dan kapasitas yang dihasilkan. Rpm yang sesuai untuk proses pengerjaan yaitu dengan 1000 Rpm Dan jarak antara bilah pengantar dengan mata pisau yaitu 6 mm dengan persentase pinang terbelah sempurna 96,6%, dengan kapastas yang dihasilkan yaitu sebanyak 272 kg/jam.Downloads
