PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN IJUK PADA CAMPURAN KOMPOSIT BETON

Banyak penelitian yang telah menggunakan serat baja dalam campuran beton normal dan telah dilakukan dalam beberapa negara bagian di dunia. Namun, dikarenakan harga serat kawat baja itu sangat mahal di Indonesia, maka penggunaan serat ijuk untuk menggantikan serat baja itu dalam campuran beton diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Serat ijuk ini berdiameter 0,5 mm-1,5 mm dipotong dengan panjang 30 mm-60 mm dan digunakan dalam campuran beton sebagai tulangan mikro beton yang diprediksi mampu meningkatkan kuat tekan dan kuat lentur beton. Jumlah serat ijuk yang digunakan bervariasi 0%, 1%, dan 1,5% dikalikan volume beton dengan target kuat tekan fc’ 30 MPa.
Untuk uji kuat tekan beton, benda uji akan dibuat dalam kubus yang berukuran 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm (SNI 03-2834-2000) yang dites pada hari ke 7, 14, 21 dan 28 hari serta uji kuat lentur dengan benda uji berbentuk balok yang berukuran 150 mm x 150 mm x 600 mm (Standar SNI 4431: 2011) yang akan di tes pada hari ke 28 agar diperoleh nilai kuat lentur yang maksimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan serat ijuk dalam campuran beton menurunkan kuat tekan beton sebesar 25,23% pada komposisi 1% serat ijuk dibandingkan dengan beton berkomposisi 0% serat ijuk dan meningkatkan kuat lentur sebesar 10,67% pada komposisi 1% serat ijuk dibandingkan dengan beton berkomposisi 0% serat ijuk (beton normal) dan juga penggunaan serat ijuk menurunkan kelecakan nilai slump beton.Downloads
