ANALISIS FILM NGERI-NGERI SEDAP: PENDEKATAN METODE ROLAND BARTHES
Abstract
This research delves into the analysis of visual content and dialogues in the film "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap" utilizing the theoretical framework of Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The study aims to uncover the hidden moral messages within the film through the lens of Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research focuses on specific scenes in the film. In this analytical approach, denotation is employed to identify the signs visible at surface level, while connotation is explored to reveal the underlying meanings behind these signs. The study also incorporates myth analysis to identify implicit ideas understood collectively within the film's context. By applying Roland Barthes' semiotic approach, this research unveils the intricate and profound narrative structure within "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap". The findings offer in-depth insights into how the film conveys moral messages to its audience through the use of visual signs and dialogues. This research makes a significant contribution to understanding symbolic representations and hidden messages in audiovisual artworks, enriching the comprehension of semiotic analysis within the context of film.
