Analisis Presentase Window to Wall Ratio (WWR) Kantor Bank di Jakarta
Abstract
This research discusses the window to wall percentage ratio, Window - to Wall Ratio, abbreviated as WWR. The case study in this research consists of 12 buildings with bank office functions in the Jakarta area. The method used is through frontal images / photos taken at each building. Then the WWR is calculated with a grid guide. The results of this average will be compared with previous studies. The average value obtained is in the range (21% <WWR> 65%), where in the building envelope manual the average WWR value ranges (20% <WWR> 69%). And from this value it can save energy in buildings up to 13.2%. Then this value can be a passive design strategy to minimize the amount of energy use that refers to the green building criteria. In this study, it is hoped that it can become a benchmark when determining the amount of the window to window ratio, especially in bank offices.
