Abstract

Since the coronavirus outbreak wreaked had impacted on a majority of people, some protective restrictions had been implemented for a while. The implementations caused a long chain of consequences on daily life and economic aspect too. A part of investors had to work from home and spent most of their time at their accommodations, harmfully affecting their physical and metal conditions, as well as, ultimately changing their life styles from offline living to online one. Some inactive investors became active as they had more time to trade stocks and searched for more information. The information in search engine contained both health and wealth information such as worrying economic figures and the number of daily infected cases. The economic figures and the COVID-19 situations were also reflected in stock market performances through investors’ behaviour. As stock investment behaviour connected to investors’ decision-making process, it was necessary to identify what components involved with stock investment decision especially in the time of health crisis. Hence, systematic literature review with CIMO framework was applied to search related literatures on academic databases. The literatures matching inclusion criteria and mismatching exclusion ones were selected and documented in MS Word and MS Excel. The documentary data was extracted and categorized into subject areas, then, analyzed through narrative analysis. The research results are practical for policy makers of Ministry of Finance who are responsible for promoting investing in stocks as savings so as to enhance financial literacy and status of a country’s citizens.
