MANAGING MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORK PLACE

Abstract 

           The success of an organization depends on the degree of excellence of an employee and how the leader of an organization can handle their employees, especially in the aspect of mental health. In this regard, the well-being of the employee's mental health is essential in ensuring the successful running of an organization. Therefore, the management of an organization, especially the human resource division, must emphasize the mental well-being of the workers through the application of psychology in the workplace so that employees can apply it while working and perform their responsibilities more effectively. This paper focuses on human resources' role in strengthening the workplace's psychological aspects. There are many programs managers can implement to ensure that the welfare of workers is taken care of, such as the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and others. With the awareness of the importance of empowerment of organizational management through this application of psychology, it is hoped that this will serve as a guide for managers and leaders in an organization to achieve their mission and vision.
