Media sosial mengalami perkembangan sangat pesat dengan isi (konten) yang beragam mulai dari informasi yang positif sampai negatif, yang benar sampai yang tidak benar, bahkan berita bohong (hoax). Ada juga konten yang tidak
penting alias tidak mendidik bahkan bisa membawa ke hal yang tidak baik bagi pembacanya, seperti konten pornografi dan kekerasan. Menjelang Pemilu saat ini juga ada konten yang isinya menjelekkan pihak lawan atau yang biasa
disebut dengan black campaign atau kampanye hitam. Hal tersebut menjadi perhatian utama dari PKM ini. Dengan target sasaran remaja, walaupun tidak tertutup orang dewasa yang dituntut untuk terus mengawasi anak-anak mereka,
PKM ini dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh ide bagaimana merancang konten yang edukatif di media sosial. Dari 19 (Sembilan belas) peserta yang hadir pada PPM kali ini ternyata mampu memberikan ide konten yang bersifat edukatif,
yaitu konten mengenai Kampanye Lingkungan dan Kampanye Pemilu yang Positif. Intinya sebagai pengguna mereka pun mampu berkontribusi dalam memberikan ide konten yang baik yang bersifat mendidik, artinya bisa memberikan hal positif kepada para penggunanya.
