Analisis dan Simulasi Perancangan PLTMH Menggunakan Software HOMER-Pro di Sungai Damar

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik menuntut penggunaan sumber energi terbarukan yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan. Salah satu solusi yang potensial untuk wilayah pedesaan adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH), yang memanfaatkan energi potensial air untuk menghasilkan listrik tanpa emisi karbon secara terus-menerus. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan menyimulasikan rancangan PLTMH di Sungai Damar, Kabupaten Kendal, menggunakan perangkat lunak HOMER-Pro untuk menilai kelayakan teknis dan ekonominya. Metode penelitian mencakup studi literatur debit air, perancangan beban dan sistem suplai mikrohidro, perancangan turbin dan generator berdasarkan potensi daya yang dihitung, serta analisis biaya yang sudah diperhitungkan. Data debit andalan (Q80) sebesar 1.259,88 L/s dan tinggi jatuh efektif 0,3734 meter menghasilkan daya bersih 2,95 kW dengan efisiensi 64%. Simulasi menunjukkan PLTMH dapat beroperasi sepanjang 8.760 jam per tahun, menghasilkan energi tahunan sebesar 27.879 kWh dengan tingkat pemenuhan kebutuhan energi mencapai 100%. Analisis ekonomi menunjukkan biaya energi rata-rata (LCOE) sebesar Rp53,05/kWh dan biaya proyek total (NPC) sebesar Rp30.802.740,00. Sistem ini juga menghasilkan surplus energi tahunan sekitar 25.287 kWh yang dapat diekspor ke jaringan PLN. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa PLTMH di Sungai Damar layak secara teknis dan ekonomis, serta berpotensi menjadi solusi energi terbarukan yang efisien dan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Kendal.Downloads
