Pengembangan Teknologi Energi Baru Terbarukan pada Produk Migas dengan Basic Flame Oil

Transisi menuju energi baru terbarukan (EBT) menjadi prioritas untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil. Studi ini mengevaluasi pencampuran biodiesel (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester atau FAME) dengan Pertadex menggunakan Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) dan metode gravimetri bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan bakar yang ramah lingkungan yang dievaluasi menggunakan metode ash content. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pencampuran FAME meningkatkan kadar abu (ash content), dari rata-rata 44,26% pada Pertadex murni menjadi 74,64% pada campuran 10% FAME. FTIR mengidentifikasi gugus karbonil (C=O) pada panjang gelombang 1745 cm⁻¹, yang meningkat signifikan pada konsentrasi FAME lebih tinggi. Meskipun demikian, gugus CH₂ dan CH₃ tetap dominan, menunjukkan stabilitas struktur hidrokarbon. Kombinasi ini menghasilkan bahan bakar dengan potensi emisi lebih rendah dan kandungan biofuel yang lebih tinggi, mendukung kebijakan Net Zero Emissions 2060. Namun, kadar abu yang meningkat memerlukan kontrol mutu lebih ketat untuk mencegah dampak negatif pada efisiensi pembakaran. Hasil studi ini menegaskan perannya metoda spektrofotometri dan gravimetri dalam pengembangan bahan bakar ramah lingkungan. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk pengujian lebih lanjut terkait dampak kinerja mesin dan analisis ekonomi untuk memastikan implementasi yang optimal dan berkelanjutan.
