ANALISIS DAYA SAING CRUDE PALM OIL (MINYAK SAWIT MENTAH) PADA PT. CIPTA USAHA SEJATI DENGAN METODE HERIFINDAHL INDEKS DAN ANALISA SWOT DALAM MENGHADAPI PERDAGANGAN CPO DUNIA
Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keunggulan komparatif dan kompetitif komoditi CPO PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati dibandingkan dengan perusahaan penghasil CPO yang lain periode 2013-2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistic desriptif dengan menganalisa daya saing ekspor komoditi PT Cipta Usaha Sejati tahun 2014. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah indeks Herifindahl dan Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) serta analisa SWOT. Ditemukan hasil bahwa keunggulan komparatif daya saing CPO PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati yang diukur dengan Indeks Herifindahl memiliki rata – rata sebesar 0,63 atau CR4 sebesar 63%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati tidak menguasai pasar CPO Indonesia serta dapat dikatakan bahwa pesaing 4 besar perusahaan penghasil CPO Indonesia seperti Astra Agro Lestari, Sinar Mas, Asian Agri maupun Wilmar Nabati merupakan perusahaan yang mengusai pasar CPO. Sehingga untuk pasar CPO Indonesia mengarah pada pasar Oligopoli sementara ditingkat internasional Indonesia merupakan pesaing kuat Malaysia dalam ekspor CPO Dunia. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pasar CPO tergolong kompetitif. Masih memungkinkan PT. Cipta Usaha Sejati untuk bersaing dalam produksi CPO baik ditingkat nasional maupun ditingkat internasional terlebih lagi dengan adanya CPO yang tersertifikasi RSPO.
