Optimasi Parameter Transmisi OFDM pada DVB-T untuk Penerimaan Tetap dan Bergerak

Standar Televisi digital yang digunakan di PT. M2V merupakan standar
TV digital untuk siaran terrestrial yang dikembangkan di Eropa. Sistem
DVB-T memiliki ketahanan tinggi terhadap berbagai gangguan akibat
kondisi kanal yang buruk dengan adanya derau, lintasan jamak, dan
variasi daya terima karena fading karena dipadu dengan dua lapis teknik
pengodean untuk koreksi sinyal. Dengan menggunakan sistem ini, dalam
setiap frekuensi carier 8 Mhz diisi dengan 8 channel program siaran.
DVB-T juga dapat diimplementasikan dalam mode SFN (Single
Frequency Network) di mana suatu operator dapat memasang beberapa
pemancar dengan frekuensi yang sama tersebar pada suatu area dengan
tujuan untuk memperluas dan memperbaiki kualitas cakupan tanpa perlu
menambah frekuensi. Pada Teknologi DVB-T yang digunakan di M2V
menggunakan parameter-parameter yang memang berbeda dengan
Teknologi televisi digital yang dipakai Nexmedia di frekuensi VHF
maupun TVRI di frekuensi UHF. Di M2V telah mengaplikasikan DVBT
pada penerimaan bergerak (mobile), dan rencana pengembangan
untuk mengaplikasikan DVB-T pada rumah (fixed), sehingga diperlukan
adanya perubahan sistem transmisi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan
melakukan analisis parameter transmisi dengan harapan diperoleh
parameter transmisi yang cocok untuk penerimaan di rumah (fixed) dan
penerimaan bergerak (mobile), sehingga dapat membantu rencana
pengembangan di M2V.
