Studi Perbandingan Throughput pada Algoritma Pemetaan eOCSA dan Ohseki pada Teknologi WiMAX Mobile dengan Menggunakan Teknologi OFDMA

Sistem Mobile WiMAX berdasarkan pada standard IEEE 802.16e
membutuhkan alokasi semua sumber daya downlink yang dipetakan
kedalam wilayah persegi empat dalam dua dimensi peta Time-
Frequency . Dimana teknologi yang digunakan adalah OFDMA
(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access).Sudah banyak
proposal algoritma pemetaan yang pernah diajukan para peneliti.
Namun algoritma yang simple untuk diimplementasikan dan memiliki
efisiensi throughput yang bagus adalah eOCSA yang diajukan oleh
Chakchai So-In dkk. Dalam tugas akhir ini algoritma eOCSA akan
dibandingkan dengan salah satu algoritma yang pernah diajukan
sebelumnya yaitu algoritma Ohseki. Dari perhitungan diperoleh bahwa
algoritma pemetaan eOCSA lebih efisien dibandingkan algoritma
Ohseki, dimana efisiensi algoritma eOCSA 87.54 % sedangkan
algoritma Ohseki 69.8 %.
