STRATEGI PARENTAL MEDIATION MEMPENGARUHI TINGKAT SELF DISCLOSURE REMAJA KEPADA ORANG TUA TERKAIT PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL?

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh masing-masing strategi parental mediation terhadap self disclosure remaja kepada orang tua terkait penggunaan media sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif berupa analisis regresi linear berganda. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 210 remaja berusia 11-15 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan modifikasi alat ukur Perceived Parental Media Mediation (α= .804) dan kontruksi alat ukur self disclosure (α= .867). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari masing-masing strategi active parental mediation dan strategi restrictive parental mediation terhadap self disclosure remaja kepada orang tua terkait penggunaan media sosial. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis regresi berganda dengan koefisien regresi 2.403 dan -.809.
