HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF EFFICACY DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL BEING PADA ORANG DENGAN HIV/AIDS DI JAKARTA

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan subjective well being terhadap Orang Dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) di Jakarta. Self efficacy menggunakan teori dari Bandura (1997) dan subjective well being menggunakan teori dari Diener (2010). Self effifacy terdiri dari tiga dimensi yaitu tingkat (level), keluasan (generality) dan kekuatan (strength). Subjective well being mencakup dua dimensi kognitif dan dimensi afektif. Sebanyak 70 orang ODHA yang bersedia menjadi responden dijaring dari 2 LSM, yaitu AM dan PK di Jakarta menjadi sampel penelitian ini, diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan kriteria sampel mengalami HIV/AIDS dan berusia 17-50 tahun. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur PANAS (The positive and negative affect scales, Watson & Tellegen, 1988) untuk dimensi afeksi, dan Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, 2010) untuk dimensi kognitif dalam mengukur variabel subjective well being. Alat ukur self efficacy disusun sendiri oleh peneliti. Kedua alat ukur tersebut telah terbukti validitas dan reabilitasnya. Dari hasil uji korelasi menggunakan Pearson diperoleh nilai r 0.774 dengan p value 0,00 dan taraf signifikansi 0.05 (p< 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self efficacy dengan subjective well being pada ODHA di Jakarta. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi self efficacy maka semakin tinggi pula subjective well being-nya. Self efficacy memiliki hubungan yang paling kuat dengan dimensi afektif, yang berarti keyakinan ODHA terhadap kemampuannya mengontrol keberfungsian dan kejadian di lingkungan memberikan kontribusi paling besar terhadap perasaan positif atau negatif yang ia rasakan terhadap kehidupannyaUnduhan
