Mengelola sumber daya manusia dalam sebuah perusahaan semakin diakui sebagai pusat penting
untuk pelaksanaan strategi perusahaan tersebut kedepan, sehingga perlunya konsistensi
perusahaan dalam menjaga kepuasaan kerja karyawan dan perusahaan. Peneli
tian ini bertujuan
mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kompensasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap employee engagement
serta dampaknya terhadap turnover intentions pada PT. Bank XYZ, Tbk, berdasarkan fenomenafenomena
yang
terjadi
di
Bank
XYZ.
Penelitian
ini
menggunakan
pendekatan
deskriptif.
Teknik
analisis
secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisa jalur (Path Analysis) untuk
pengujian hipotesis dan juga dilakukan analisis antar dimensi. Data penelitian merupakan data
primer yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada karyawan
Kantor Pusat bank XYZ sebanyak 169 sampel yaitu yang tersebar pada
5 lokasi kantor selama
periode Mei 2015 – Juni 2015. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh
langsung, pengaruh tidak langsung dan pengaruh gabungan antara kompensasi, kepuasan kerja,
employee engagement dan turnover intentions.
