ANALISIS SIFAT FISIK DAN MEKANIK BATA BETON DI YOGYAKARTA

Bata beton di Indonesia merupakan bahan material yang sudah lama dikenal dan banyak digunakan sebagai bahan bangunan. Bata beton terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu bata beton berlubang dan bata beton pejal. Di Indonesia khususnya wilayah Yogyakarta banyak sekali pabrik-pabrik pembuat bata beton, akan tetapi pada proses pembuatannya sering dijumpai masalah yaitu bata beton yang dibuat tidak diketahui memenuhi standar dan tidak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil 10 sampel dari 10 lokasi tempat diempat kabupaten di wilayah Yogyakarta. Pemeriksaan awal di lapangan meliputi pemeriksaan komposisi material yang digunakan, jenis material dan metode pembuatan. Pemeriksaan ke dua dilakukan meliputi pengujian sifat fisik yaitu menganalisa dimensi/ukuran, tekstur/bentuk, dan sifat mekanik yaitu pengujian densitas, penyerapan, kadar air, berat jenis dan Initial Rate of Suction (IRS), kuat tekan dan modulus elastisitas.Downloads
