ANALISIS VECTOR GROUP PADA HUBUNGAN PARALEL TRANSFORMATOR UNIT GARDU BERGERAK

Operasi paralel transformator distribusi dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas daya penyaluran tenaga listrik atau meminimalisir pemadaman pada sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik. Namun pada prakteknya, tidak semua transformator dapat dihubungkan paralel. Ada beberapafaktor yang perlu diperhatikan sebelum melakukan operasi paralel transformator. Selain tegangan dan frekuensi harus sama, vector group transformator juga harus sesuai. Vector group merupakan polaritas pada transformator tiga fasa yang dipengaruhi oleh konfigurasi hubungan belitan dalam transformator. Perbedaan vector grup seringkali menjadi kendala ketika transformator unit gardu bergerak (UGB) akan diparalel dengan transformator pada gardu distribusi. Operator lapangan biasanya segera memutuskan bahwa transformator tidak mungkin diparalel dan kemudian melakukan penjadwalan ulang. Hal ini tentunya membuang waktu dan biaya.
Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan evaluasi kemungkinan operasi paralel dua transformator yang memiliki vector group berbeda. Cara sederhana untuk menganalisis vector group yaitu dengan menggambar diagram fasor yang mengacu pada hasil pengukuran tegangan sekunder kedua transformator. Mula-mula dilakukan pengujian dengan menghubungkan salah satu terminal primer dengan salah satu terminal sekunder untuk mengetahui jenis vector group pada transformator. Kemudian memberikan tegangan tiga fasa pada sisi primer dan mengukur tegangan antara terminal primer dan sekunder. Selanjutnya menggambarkan diagram fasor dengan panjang garis yang merepresentasikan hasil pengukuran tegangan.
Penelitian membuktikan bahwa operasi paralel transformator dengan vector group berbeda dapat dilakukan dengan menyesuaikan urutan fasa sehingga tegangan sekunder kedua transformator menjadi sefasa. Hasil penelitian disarikan dalam tabel yang menunjukkan pasangan vector grup yang berbeda yang memungkinkan untuk diparalel. Hasil penelitian ini akan memudahkan operator lapangan dalam melakukan paralel transformator UGB dengan transformator gardu distribusi sehingga dapat dihindarkan suatu penjadwalan ulang yang tidak perlu.
