Rancang Bangun Sistem EBB And Flow Berbasis Internet of Things

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem kendali otomatis pada budidaya tanaman hidroponik menggunakan teknik Ebb and Flow dengan fokus pada sirkulasi nutrisi serta pengendalian kandungan nutrisi dan pH larutan dengan menggunakan sistem kendali Fuzzy Mamdani. Sistem dikembangkan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan pemrosesan utama menggunakan ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan beberapa sensor, yaitu lima sensor ultrasonik untuk membaca ketinggian air pada bak tanaman, bak larutan, penampungan nutrisi A, penampungan nutrisi B, penampungan larutan alkali, dan penampungan larutan acidic. Selain itu terdapat sensor pH-4502C untuk mendeteksi keasaman larutan, sensor suhu tipe NTC untuk mendeteksi temperature larutan, serta sensor TDS untuk mengukur kandungan nutrisi. Data hasil pembacaan sensor dan hasil dikirim secara real time ke Firebase. Sementara aktuator yang digunakan pompa submersible digunakan untuk mengalirkan larutan, pompa DC untuk digunakan membuang larutan, serta empat pompa DC yang digunakan untuk memasukan larutan nutrisi A, nutrisi B, larutan alkali, dan larutan asam. Dalam pemantauan dan pengendalian jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi Android yang dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman Kotlin dengan dukungan Pustaka KOIN, MPAndroidChart, dan Livedata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu melakukan proses Ebb and Flow secara otomatis melalui tahapan sirkulasi, banjir dan drainase, dengan kendali nutrisi menghasilkan kesalahan maksimum 2.16% dan minimum 0.32%, serta kesalahan pengendalian pH maksimum 5.43% dan minimum 1.16%. Dengan demikian, sistem ini terbukti efektif dalam mengotomatisasi proses budidaya hidroponik sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi pemantauan serta pengendalian jarak jauh.
