Monitoring Lokasi Dan Kesehatan Kucing Peliharaan Berbasis Integrasi Sensor Multi-Modal Dan Internet Of Things

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem pemantauan lokasi dan kesehatan kucing peliharaan berbasis integrasi sensor multi-modal dan Internet of Things (IoT). Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan pemilik kucing dalam memantau kondisi kesehatan dan aktivitas hewan secara real-time, yang dapat menyebabkan keterlambatan dalam mendeteksi masalah kesehatan atau perilaku abnormal. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan NodeMCU ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama, dengan integrasi sensor DS18B20 untuk suhu tubuh, pulse heart rate sensor untuk detak jantung, serta modul GPS Beitian BN-220 untuk pelacakan lokasi. Data dari sensor dikirimkan ke Firebase Realtime Database melalui koneksi Wi-Fi dan ditampilkan dalam aplikasi mobile berbasis Android dengan fitur visualisasi grafik, peta lokasi, serta notifikasi otomatis jika parameter kesehatan berada di luar batas normal atau kucing keluar dari zona aman (geo-fencing). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji coba dilakukan pada seekor kucing Persia betina berumur dua tahun dengan rompi khusus sebagai media pemasangan perangkat. Hasil pengujian pada seekor kucing Persia betina berusia dua tahun menunjukkan bahwa suhu tubuh berada pada kisaran 38,6–39,2°C dan detak jantung 140–174 BPM, masih sesuai standar fisiologis normal. Peningkatan nilai terdeteksi setelah aktivitas, tetapi kembali stabil saat istirahat, sehingga tidak ditemukan indikasi gangguan kesehatan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini terbukti efektif memberikan pemantauan real-time sekaligus informasi diagnostik awal, yang bermanfaat bagi pemilik kucing dalam menjaga kesehatan dan keselamatan hewan peliharaannyaUnduhan
