Pegas pada umumnya mempunyai nilai konstanta yang tidak diketahui sehingga menyulitkan dalam pemilihan penggunaan pegas. Alat uji konstanta pegas menggunakan spesimen berupa pegas ulir tekan dengan sistem manual hidrolik dalam bentuk alat bottle jack, hal ini digunakan sebagai penekan bahan uji (pegas ulir tekan). Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan mensimulasikan alat uji konstanta pegas dengan faktor keamanan yang tepat dengan kapasitas beban pegas 50N/mm. Metode yang digunakan dengan perhitungan manual lalu disimulasikan pada bagian utama komponen yang berhubungan dengan pengujian bahan pegas ulir tekan menggunakan perangkat lunak Solidwork. Dari hasil simulasi tersebut dapat dikatakan desain rangka kuat menahan beban statis maksimumnya sebesar 2000N atau 203,94 kgf dengan faktor keamanan sebesar 1,1 yang bisa dikatakan aman, jika dipakai dalam keadaan normalnya.Downloads
