Peran Kesepian pada Kecemasan Sosial Remaja Akhir

Abstract


Dalam tugas perkembangan sosialnya,  remaja kerap mengalami kecemasan pada saat berkomunikasi dan bergaul dengan temannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peran kesepian pada kecemasan sosial remaja. Melalui survey non eksperimental terhadap 233 remaja akhir di Kabupaten Tangerang dengan menggunakan alat ukur social anxiety scale for adolescents (La Greca, 1998) untuk mengukur kecemasan sosial dan UCLA Loneliness Scale version 3 (1996) untuk mengukur kesepian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesepian berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap kecemasan social. Artinya semakin tinggi kecemasan seseorang semakin tinggi kecemasan sosialnya.
