PERANCANGAN VISUAL DISPLAY INFORMASI DENGAN PENDEKATAN ERGONOMI

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membantu PT Impero Nusa Pratama dalam meningkatkan awareness terhadap System Operating Procedure perusahaan melalui visual display informasi. Perancangan dilakukan dengan pendekatan ergonomi berdasarkan beberapa kriteria rancangan. Kriteria rancangan visual display dari sisi penentuan kalimat, tipografi, ukuran huruf, dan pemilihan warna agar display informasi dapat terlihat dan diterima dengan baik oleh karyawan. Berdasarkan analisis masalah dengan menggunakan 5W 1H diperoleh penyebab operator tidak menyelesaikan pekerjaan dalam satu siklus adalah bermain handphone pada saat bekerja. Display rekomendasi yang dirancang mempertimbangkan visual activity (VA), typography, stroke width, letter height, dan komposisi warna. Dimensi visual display yang dirancang yaitu, tinggi huruf untuk display ruang produksi 1 memiliki ukuran lebar huruf 8,7 mm dan tinggi huruf 43,4 mm dengan ukuran display panjang 274,3 x lebar 232 mm. Display ruang produksi 2 memiliki ukuran lebar huruf 5,8 mm dan tinggi huruf 28,96 mm dengan ukuran display panjang 71,4 x lebar 298,7 mm.
