PERBAIKAN SISTEM KERJA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS KARYAWAN
Abstrak
Karyawan perusahaan mebel khususnya dibagian produksi banyak melibatkan kegiatan fisik, yang dapat menimbulkan kelelahan, gangguan muskuloskeletal dan risiko cidera. Kelelahan pada pekerja menyebabkan menurunnya performansi dan berdampak pada menurun produktivitas. Pengamatan awal pekerja bagian produksi di perusahaan mebel di Yogyakarta, merasakan pegal–pegal dan sakit di beberapa bagian tubuh seperti pergelangan tangan, punggung, leher dan kaki setelah selesai bekerja. Untuk itu, perlu dicari solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi hal tersebut agar pekerja merasa nyaman dalam beraktivitas. Pada pembahasan ini dilakukan perbaikan sistem kerja dengan pendekatan makro ergonomi untuk menurunkan kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal, risiko cidera dan meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan sama subjek (treatment by subject). Hasil penelitian dengan uji beda menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan, keluhan muskuloskeletal dan risiko cidera terjadi penurunan secara signifikan dengan nilai probabilitas 0,000 dan 0,008 (p < 0,05) dengan tingkat penurunan kelelahan sebesar 25,07 %, keluhan muskuloskeletal sebesar 10,91 %, risiko cedera sebesar 7,27%. Sedangkan untuk produktivitas terjadi peningkatan secara signifikan dengan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) dengan tingkat peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 36,96 %.
