TINJAUAN UNSUR GERAK VERTIKAL DAN HORIZONTAL PADA FURNITURE
Abstract
Fenomena keterbatasan ruang merupakan salah satu permasalahan pada perumahan di wilayah perkotaan. Dengan terbatasnya ruang pada rumah, maka dibutuhkan furniture fleksibel dan efisien yang dapat beradaptasi pada segala ruang. Furniture fleksibel selalu dilengkapi dengan unsur gerak, dalam bentuk geometri terbagi menjadi gerak vertikal dan horizontal. Penelitian ini mengkaji peluang yang ditemukan pada ragam unsur gerak vertikal dan horizontal sehingga dapat menemukan unsur gerak pada furniture yang dapat mengefisienkan ruang terbatas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka, observasi dan dokumentasi mengenai ragam furniture dengan unsur gerak. Setelah itu dilakukan analisis dan mengkategori berbagai variasi gerak vertikal dan horizontal pada furniture didapatkan ragam yang lebih bernilai efisien dan sederhana; yaitu: Gerak Vertikal dan Horizontal dengan sistem Modular, Interlocking; Gerak Horizontal Dengan Sistem Sliding Tanpa Rel; Gerak Horizontal dengan sistem Sliding, Pivot; Gerak Vertikal dan Horizontal dengan sistem Folding.
The phenomenon of space limitation is one of the problems in housing in urban areas. With limited space in the house, flexible and efficient furniture is needed that can adapt to any space. Flexible furniture is always equipped with motion elements, in the form of geometry divided into vertical and horizontal motion. This study examined the opportunities found in various elements of vertical and horizontal motion so as to find motion elements in furniture that can streamline limited space. The research methods used are library studies, observations and documentation on the variety of furniture with elements of motion. After that, analysis and categorizing various variations of vertical and horizontal motion on furniture obtained a variety that is more valuable efficient and simple; namely: Vertical and Horizontal Motion with Modular system, Interlocking; Horizontal Motion With Railless Sliding System; Horizontal Motion with Sliding, Pivot system; Vertical and Horizontal Motion with Folding system.
