The lack of public understanding regarding the use of QRIS makes the service function less optimal. So that in making transactions, people prefer to use cash payments. The government as a policy maker must be swift in overcoming this problem so that the purpose of QRIS as a standard for non-cash payments can be achieved and can be reached by all Indonesians. The purpose of this study is to optimize QRIS as an alternative to non-cash payments to boost economic growth. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The data obtained comes from books, the internet, journals, and related sources that are relevant to the subject matter in the research. The results of the study found that to optimize the function of QRIS as an electronic payment, the government must socialize to the public about the payment process using QRIS. This method is expected to educate and convince the public in choosing QRIS as a transaction medium, thus having an impact on increasing economic growth.
