PERBAIKAN KUALITAS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN GUGUS KENDALI MUTU

Gugus Kendali Mutu adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dalam
proses peningkatan kualitas atau mutu. Kualitas sendiri merupakan salah satu karakteristik dari suatu produk atau jasa yang ditentukan oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi produk cacat printing pada
kemasan plastik mie instan yang menyebabkan timbulnya pemborosan material plastik. Cacat terbesar pada penelitian ini adalah cacat baret, ditemukan lima masalah yang menyebabkan cacat yaitu: ink pan kotor, suhu tinta tidak stabil, tidak ada standar penggunaan doctor blade, tinta eks tidak standar, dan banyaknya kotoran di Doctor Blade yang ikut bersikulasi. Penelitian ini menargetkan penurunan cacat sebesar 70 persen, dari hasil perbaikan yang dilakukan target terpenuhi lebih dari 70 persen yaitu sebesar 78 persen melebihi dari ekspektasi target awal yang di tetapkan dan perbaikan kualitas menjadi terpenuhi.
