Abstract

This research aims to develop Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to reduce the product rejection rate at cosmetic company, a leading cosmetics company in Indonesia. With the rapid growth of the cosmetics industry, the company faces the challenge of maintaining high quality while improving supply chain efficiency. It was found that the rejection rate of 9.52% poses a significant barrier to cosmetics production. Additionally, a delivery rate of 91.50% indicates that suppliers have not yet been able to meet company's requirements. This study uses a quantitative approach with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) methods to identify and analyze the main causes of product rejection. The results show that the development of SRM can significantly reduce the rejection rate through improved supplier quality, better communication, and closer collaboration between the company and its suppliers. Effective implementation of SRM strategies is expected to enhance company's competitiveness in both national and international cosmetics markets.
