PERANCANGAN LEMARI PENYIMPANAN ERGONOMIS SEBAGAI PENERAPAN METODE 5S PADA DIVISI PEMBUBUTAN DI CV.TJOKRO BERSAUDARA CABANG TANGERANG

CV Tjokro Bersaudara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi alat-alat industri berbahan logam dan non logam yang memiliki banyak cabang, salah satunya adalah cabang Tangerang. Pada cabang Tangerang ini, kualitas lingkungan kerja kurang mendapatkan perhatian.. Setiap peralatan dan komponen yang ada di lemari penyimpanan mesin bubut dibiarkan bercampur sehingga menyulitkan pekerja dalam mencari peralatan dan komponen yang diinginkannya. Selain itu, pekerja juga terpaksa mencari peralatan dan komponen tersebut dalam kondisi membungkuk atau jongkok sehingga sangat buruk dari segi ergonomi. Untuk itulah dilakukan penelitian untuk merancang lemari penyimpanan yang ergonomis untuk meletakkan setiap peralatan dan komponen sebagai bagian dari penerapan 5S. Dilakukan pendataan terhadap peralatan dan komponen yang dipakai untuk mesin bubut serta mengukur dimensi masing-masing alat dan komponen. Dilakukan juga perhitungan ukuran lemari penyimpanan dengan menggunakan data antropometri masyarakat Indonesia berjenis kelamin laki-laki dengan persentil 50 persen untuk ukuran tinggi siku dan persentil 5 persen untuk ukuran panjang genggaman tangan ke depan, dan ukuran tinggi bahu. Panjang lemari penyimpanan yang dirancang akan berukuran 128 cm, lebar lemari penyimpanan bagian horizontal berukuran 65 cm, lebar lemari penyimpanan bagian vertikal berukuran 25 cm, dan ketinggian lemari penyimpanan adalah 100 cm dari lantai. Dirancang lemari penyimpanan dengan ukuran tersebut yang dapat memberikan tempat untuk setiap peralatan dan komponen yang ada sehingga tidak bercampur satu sama lain sesuai prinsip metode 5S.
