PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS PROSES PENGERINGAN TEH HITAM (ORTHODOKS) MENGGUNAKAN METODE DMAIC DI PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA VIII KEBUN GEDEH MAS, CIANJUR

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Kebun Gedeh Mas, Cianjur merupakan perkebunan yang bergerak pada pengolahan bahan baku teh hitam (Orthodoks). Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah pengendalian kualitas proses pengeringan kurang maksimal dan belum memenuhi standar perusahaan sehingga mempengaruhi produk yang dihasilkan. Agar kerugian dapat diminimalisir, maka perlu dilakukan tindakan perbaikan agar produk yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan standar perusahaan. Konsep DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) pada metode Six Sigma merupakan salah satu metode dalam perbaikan kualitas. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan pada proses pengeringan produksi teh hitam terdapat cacat produk. Faktor yang menyebabkan kualitas kurang bagus adalah pertama material yang digunakan. Faktor kedua yaitu manusia atau operator, dan faktor ketiga adalah mesin yang digunakan. Langkah peningkatan kualitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat implementasi five M-Checklist. Faktor - faktor yang menyebabkan kualitas produk kurang bagus dibuatkan rencana perbaikannya agar tidak terjadi lagi cacat pada produk.Unduhan
