Perancangan Data Warehouse Pemetaan Data Siswa Pada SMKN 1 PURBALINGGA

Data warehouse merupakan sebuah cara yang digunakan untuk menampung data dalam jumlah besar dan menjadi pertimbangan dalam pengambilan sebuah keputusan. Setiap tahunnya SMKN 1 Purbalingga masih dokumentasinya data siswa/i secara manual dan belum menggunakan computer, sehingga membuat pihak sekolah kesulitan untuk menganalisa data dari siswa/i untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Berdasarkan hal ini, penulis melakukan pengumpulan data primer terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah data siswa/i SMKN 1 Purbalingga. Adapun pengumpulan data primer tersebut meliputi jumlah siswa per angkatan, agama, jenis kelamin, umur, minat, tingkat kelas, dan tahun angkatan yang dimasukkan kedalam database kemudian data tersebut diolah menjadi bentuk grafik sehingga memperoleh informasi, laporan, dan dapat dilakukan analisa multidimensi yang dapat membantu pihak sekolah dalam membuat kebijakan yang berdasarkan pada data yang dihasilkan oleh siswa/i-nya.References
