STUDI ANALISA PERFORMANSI TROUBLESHOOTING NATIVE IP TRANSMISI MINILINK TN PADA LINK SINDANGRASA – RANCAMAYA

Untuk menyelesaikan masalah transmisi data besar salah satu solusinya adalah penggunaan peralatan transmisi berbasis IP (Native IP). Penelitian ini dilakukan analisa hasil penerapan peralatan transmisi berbasis IP pada jalur transmisi Rancamaya – Sindangrasa.
Analisa ini melihat adanya bottleneck pada sisi peralatan transmisi dengan melihat bandwidth uility yang mencapai 100%. Akibat dari terjadinya bottlenect tersebut adalah munculnya alarm NTP Server pada Node-B (BTS 3G) ericsson, dan congestion disertai dropcall pada sisi BTS 2G ericsson. Dengan melakukan aktifitas upgrade peralatan transmisi berbasis IP dari 18 Mbps menjadi 51 Mbps diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan masalah bottleneck akibat transmisi data yang besar tersebut.
Hasil dari aktifitas upgrade kapasitas transmisi berbasis IP tersebut ternyata dapat menghilangkan adanya bottleneck tersebut, dengan melihat bandwidth utility yang turun sampai 50% serta hilangnya alarm NTP Server pada sisi Node-B (BTS 3G) ericsson, congestion dan dropcall pada sisi BTS 2G ericsson membuktikan hal tersebut. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa peralatan transmisi berbasis IP adalah mutlak untuk diterapkan pada masa sekarang ini.
