STUDI ANALISIS KEGAGALAN KOMUNIKASI POINT TO POINT PADA PERANGKAT TRANSMISI NEC PASOLINK V4

Pada penelitian ini terdapat dua studi kasus yang akan dibahas yaitu kegagalan komunikasi point to point link JKT_06A330 ITC BSD facing JKT_06B1052 IBS BSD Junction dan kegagalan omunikasi point to point link JKT_06N412 Klebet kemiri facing JKT_06N411 Kampung kelapa. Peneliti menganalisis penyebab kegagalan tersebut dengan melakukan perbandingan nilai receive level (RSL) yang dapat dimonitoring lewat PNMT ketika terjadi gangguan dan setelah dilakukan perbaikan, dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan secara empiris ( rumus) dan dengan menggunakan software ( menggunakan Pathloss).
Kesimpulan yang peneliti tarik dari analisis ini permasalahan terletak pada sisi instalasi dan kondisi cuaca . Pemasangan sistem grounding pada ODU dan kekencangan instalasi menjadi fokus utama yang harus diperhatikan. Faktor lain diluar sisi teknis, keadaan cuaca yang buruk seperti hujan,angin dan petir dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kegagalan sistem komunikasi point to point tersebut .
Untuk meminimalisasi gangguan tersebut sebaiknya dalam jangka waktu satu sampai tiga bulan sekali dilakukan pengecekan instalasi yang meliputi pengecekan sistem grounding perangkat transmisi, sistem instalasi fixedstruth untuk antenna dengan diameter 1.2 m atau lebih, sistem instalasi kabel IF dan pengecekan lainnya yang ditemukan di lapangan .
