LEAN MANUFACTURING KONSEP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS MESIN MOULDING MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN SMED DI PT XYZ

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi garmen, Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan adalah underware dan lingerie. Sebagai perusahaan manufaktur, perusahaan ini tidak lepas dari permasalahan mengenai efektivitas mesin/peralatan. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah lamanya proses set-up penggantian mould cup. Sehingga mengakibatkan down time losses. Lean manufacturing adalah suatu pendekatan yang inovatif dalam maintenance dengan cara mengoptimasi keefektifan peralatan, mengurangi/ menghilangkan downtime set-up. Melalui Lean Manufacturing diharapkan adanya perbaikan serta pengurangan nilai Six Big Losses yang merupakan kerugian-kerugian perusahaan yang terkait dengan peralatan. Perbaikan yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi waktu set-up yaitu menggunakan metode SMED (Single Minute Exchange Dies) yaitu mengurangi waktu set-up dan menghilangkan aktivitas internal dan eksternal yang kurang efektif. Penerapan metode SMED dilakukan dengan merubah 29 aktivitas internal menjadi 22 aktivitas internal, membuat troli tools dan alat pemanas mould cup. Hasil improve yang dilakukan berkurangnya waktu set-up mesin dari 48,87 menit menjadi 34.80 menit (waktu set-up berkurang 28,8%).Downloads
