Pengujian Potensi Produk Pertalite sebagai Bahan Bakar Memasak Rumah Tangga dengan Metode Pengujian Boiling Test Water Menurut SNI 7368:2007

LPG produk bahan bakar memasak rumah tangga paling banyak digunakan masyarakat Indonesia terutama ukuran 3kg. Kelangkaan LPG sering terjadi sehingga mengakibatkan harga diatas HET. Produk Pertalite memiliki ketersediaan lebih stabil daripada LPG 3kg. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui potensi pertalite sebagai alternatif pengganti LPG atau saat LPG bersubsidi langka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode boiling water test (SNI 7368:2007) untuk mengetahui nilai efisiensi pertalite dan LPG. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagai bahan bakar memasak rumah tangga, produk pertalite lebih efisien 29,68% daripada LPG. Harga untuk skenario pengujian, produk LPG 3kg bersubsidi lebih murah (LPG: Rp467, -, pertalite: Rp824,-) karena pada harga yang sama, massa LPG 3kg lebih tinggi daripada pertalite namun pertalite lebih murah dibandingkan LPG tidak bersubsidi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini produk pertalite berpotensi sebagai alternatif LPG tidak bersubsidi ketika terjadi kelangkaan produk LPG bersubsidi atau ketika produk LPG 3kg tidak disubsidi pemerintah
