Building Transformation Capabilities: The Influence of Dynamic Leadership on Business Transformation Mediated by Organizational Commitment (Empirical Study on Energy Sector Employees in Indonesia - PT Pertamina (Persero))

Dynamic Leadership, Business Transformation, Organizational Commitment, Energy Sector, PT Pertamina (Persero), PLS-SEMAbstract
Indonesia's energy sector is currently in the midst of a double wave of disruption triggered by rapid technological changes, global commodity price dynamics, and the demands of a clean energy transition towards Net Zero Emission (NZE) 2060. This study aims to develop a theoretical framework and analyze in depth the influence of Dynamic Leadership on Business Transformation with Organizational Commitment as a mediating variable for employees in the energy sector in Indonesia, especially PT Pertamina (Persero). This research focuses strictly on three main variables to produce a conceptual model that is sharp, directed, and has high scientific explanatory power. Through an explanatory quantitative approach based on Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM), this article describes the mechanism of how adaptive and proactive leadership (Dynamic Leadership) is able to drive comprehensive business transformation, not only directly but also indirectly through strengthening emotional attachment and employee loyalty (Organizational Commitment). Theoretical and practical implications are presented to assist SOE policymakers in the energy sector in executing business transformation in a sustainable manner.
