Objectives: This study aims to examine the relationship between digital leadership and green organizational performance through a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis. It seeks to identify research trends, thematic developments, and the strategic role of digital leadership in promoting sustainability-oriented organizational outcomes.
Methodology: This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combined with bibliometric analysis. Relevant scientific articles were systematically selected from reputable databases based on publication quality and relevance to digital leadership, digital transformation, green innovation, and sustainable organizational performance. Qualitative synthesis and bibliometric mapping techniques were applied to analyze publication trends, research clusters, and collaboration patterns.
Findings: The synthesis indicates that digital leadership is conceptually associated with green organizational performance through two recurrent linking mechanisms digital transformation and green innovation. These mechanisms are interpreted from the reviewed literature rather than tested as statistical mediators. Bibliometric results show increasing scholarly interest and expanding thematic connections in this research domain.
Conclusion: Digital leadership plays a strategic role in enhancing sustainable organizational performance and strengthening long-term competitiveness. This study contributes to academic discourse and offers practical insights for organizations integrating digital transformation with sustainability objectives.
